Inukshuk Bala Falls Prints

from CA$20.00

The Inukshuk is a symbol that the First Nations of the North use to commemorate places and landmarks. I found this Inukshuk at Bala Falls in summer of 2015. Someone was using it to protest the construction of a small Hydro Plant that would change the face of the falls in that small town. It stood proudly at the edge of the falls and I couldn’t help but capture it on canvas. The original acrylic painting measures 8” x 8”. It is now available in two print sizes: small (11” x 8.5”) and large (19” x13”).
